SEAPLANE TRANSFER
In case of Seaplane Transfer, kindly note that the guest need to take International Flight that arrives Male before 15:00 Hrs since the last SEAPLANE departs MALE airport at 1600 hrs.
If International flights are delayed and guest miss their SEAPLANE transfer, One Above will not be responsible for the same.
Resort and One Above will not be responsible for natural situation (Bad Weather) or third-party situations for cancellations / reschedule, though this is our humble approach towards assisting in the best practice. Seaplane/ Airline operations are not controlled by the resort or One Above. Therefore, we cannot take responsibility for any cancellation or delays of international flight, Domestic Flight or Cancellation of Seaplane Transfer.

Rooms categories can be swapped at the time of check in – split stay pattern subject to availability
SECURITY DEPOSIT
This is worldwide policy, especially with 5-star category hotels. The resorts might charge standard deposit amount of approx. US$100 – US$300 per night (depending on category of resorts). This will be used against the incidental during the stay (food and beverage, spa, water sport, etc).
Upon check out if there is any balance amount left, resorts will return it to the guest.
Revised Maldivian Tax
Pursuant to the sixth amendment to the Goods and Services Tax Act, the rate of tourism sector GST will increase from 12% to 16% (sixteen percent), from 1st January 2023. To this effect, please be informed that the new GST will be charged at the new rates for all bookings with stays from 1st January 2023.

As stipulated in our contract the increase of GST by the government of Maldives will be charged accordingly from Tour Operator, Travel Agent or the party from whom the bookings are confirmed with and therefore we are compelled to levy the increase of 4% as surcharge for GST for all confirmed bookings for stays from 1st January 2023 onwards and the new GST rate of 16% will be applied for all new bookings with immediate effect for stays from 1st January 2023 onwards.

Our accounts team will send amendment with adjustment of new GST rate to invoices for the confirmed bookings for stays from 1st January 2023. Kindly settle payments accordingly by the mentioned due dates.
